DATA ANALYST IN NEWPORT NEWS, VAVolt is immediately hiring for a Data Analyst role in Newport News, VA.As a Data Analyst, you will be: * Developing and documenting the standard data reporting processes to ensure compliance with specific policies and SOPs. * Research existing data sources to contribute to identification and correction of policy and SOP compliance failures and make recommendations for data quality and policy/SOP compliance initiatives. * Performing periodic data quality reviews on data. * Analyzing data to identify patterns and trends, see opportunities for process optimization and submit ideas to leadership. * Maintaining and/or test solutions that streamline repetitive processes and improve efficiencies such as automated reporting, Excel tools, data profiling tools, etc. * Maintaining complete documentation and instructions for all the features of reports, tools, and templates.This is a Full-time, contract opportunity.The ideal candidate will have: * Bachelor's Degree in a business field /2-3 years equivalent work experience required. * Previous HR experience with manager consulting and/or corrective action processes preferred. * Proficiency in Excel required (V lookups, Pivot Tables, etc.). * Experience developing Power BI reports, dashboards, critical metrics, and scorecards preferred. * Exhibits basic data mining skills. * Able to create letters, memoranda, and reports.Pay Rate: $25.00 - $29.90 per hour.*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
