Founded in 1953, Hudson Valley Community College (HVCC) located in scenic Upstate NY is a multi-campus College with locations in Troy and Malta New York. Department: Engineering, Architecture, Manufacturing Instructor-Civil Engineering Technology HV-FAC-8915 Full-Time Probationary Fall 2024 Minimum Qualifications:BS in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology from and accredited University. Two years of previous teaching experience in the field of engineering or engineering technology. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS : Experience teaching online, hybrid, or in person classes. MS in a related field. DUTIES AND/OR RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide classroom instruction in Civil Engineering lab and lecture Evaluate student performance and complete assessments as required by the Collaborate with colleagues on course and program development as well as transfer course Participate in departmental, division wide, and/or college wide At the direction of the Department Chairperson, faculty shall perform duties as specified in the Faculty The Salary for this position is $48,981.00. This is a 10-month position (151 workdays).
