The candidate will assist the team in patent preparation/prosecution, drafting patent opinions, IP diligence, and strategic IP business counseling. The ideal candidate should have experience in all stages of patent preparation/prosecution, including drafting original applications, foreign filings, responding to official actions, and appeals. Duties:Assist in patent preparation/prosecution.Draft patent opinions, IP diligence, and strategic IP business counseling.Handle all stages of patent preparation/prosecution, including drafting original applications, foreign filings, responding to official actions, and appeals.Network with and market to prospective new clients. Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to practice law in Iowa.1+ years of experience preparing and prosecuting patent applications. Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications:Admission to practice law in Iowa. Skills:Experience in patent preparation and prosecution.Strong understanding of intellectual property laws and regulations.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Networking and marketing skills to grow the IP practice.
