A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN In this industrial maintenance position, you handle all the field service work and repairs for our customers. With the help of our products, you modernize and optimize our clients' existing facilities. Efficient and diligent, you handle site coordination and the guidance of any external personnel. You also conduct training at the customer's site, teaching our clients about our products and how to maintain them. Organized and attentive to detail, you accurately document all the work you complete. You find satisfaction in working independently, and you love keeping our customers satisfied ! QUALIFICATIONS FOR A FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN Completion of an apprenticeship or training as a construction or industrial mechanic OR equivalent qualifications Mechanical Knowledge Experience in AS/RS or load handling Ability to read and decipher technical drawings and assembly instructions Willingness and ability to travel both within the US and internationally Computer skills (i.e. Outlook, MS Teams, etc.) Valid driver's license Experience as a service technician is preferred. Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems would be a plus. Fluency in German would also be beneficial! Are you an excellent communicator? WORK SCHEDULE FOR A FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN The work schedule for this industrial maintenance position depends on the company's needs: Typical warehouse working hours 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM.
