Description:
A product development group within audio-video company Quantum Technologies, located in Huntsville, AL Hear Technologies designs and manufactures professional audio equipment used in recording studios, broadcast, and live performance applications. Responsibilities: The software developer will work with the Hear Technologies hardware developer to create and launch software products to control audio equipment. This software may include apps for phones, tablets, computers, and other devices to control said audio gear remotely. The software engineer will create reactive products, ensuring web pages or apps display well across a variety of devices. Some travel may be required. Other duties assigned as they support the team and mission of the company. Requirements: 5+ years' experience with software design preferred ,2 years required. Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, web design, or related field. Additional years' experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree. Certifications a plus! Experience creating cross-platform applications. Portfolio or GitHub repositories demonstrating work Good communication skills and the ability to act as a team player Strong organizational and leadership skills and ability to work efficiently both under tight deadlines and long-term goals Knowledge/experience coding/developing in AV industry technical industry a plus Preferred: Experience with audio-video equipment. Experience with JavaScript, especially React (Express/ Native). Experience with version-control.
