Position Classification: Work-Study/Non-Paid Internship General Function: Assist in planning, implementing, facilitating, and supervising activities and programs. Assist inpromoting the safety of members, quality of programs, and appearance of the Campus at all times.Assist staff with keeping records of participants, schedules, attendance, and program results.CPR/First Aid recommended but not required. Job Responsibilities: Demonstrate and promote Core Values.Assist staff with Curriculum implementation.Assist staff with supervising activities and events at the campus.Understand the Clubs' philosophy, vision, and goals.Assist in providing guidance, being a role model, and inspiring youth.Work with an array of individuals from diverse backgrounds.Other duties as assigned. Knowledge, skills, and abilities: Ability to deal effectively with staff, youth, and parentsDemonstrate good written and verbal communication skillsKnowledge of youth development. Education and Experience: High School Diploma and working towards a college degree.Maybe able to work with a group of members alone depending on education/experience. Physical and Mental Requirements: Must be comfortable performing multi-faceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities.Ability to get along with diverse personalities while at all times displaying tact, maturity, andflexibility. Physical requirements include sight, hearing, standing for up to four hours per day,and the ability to implement programs. Skills essential for success include speaking, writing, andknowledge of the computer. Environment & Working Conditions: After school/Recreational settings that include being in/outdoors. Occasional weekend andevening work to support the organization's fundraising events and activities.
