Location: Bossier Family Medicine Position: X-Ray Technician Bossier Family Medicine is seeking an experienced, certified X-Ray Technician to join our physician-owned family medicine practice. This is a full-time position working in our outpatient radiology department. Responsibilities: Operate radiographic equipment to produce x-ray images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes as ordered by physicians Position patients and provide instructions to ensure proper techniques are followed for producing optimal radiographic images Follow radiation safety standards and techniques to ensure safety of patients and staff Qualifications: ARRT registry or registry eligible preferred. Current Louisiana license required. Proficiency with radiographic equipment, techniques, and procedures Knowledge of radiation safety protocols and regulations Basic computer skills for operating PACS imaging systems Please note this position is posted on behalf of our partner practices.
