Job Summary: We are seeking enthusiastic and hardworking individuals to join our team as Temporary Parks Maintenance Workers. This position involves a variety of tasks related to the upkeep and beautification of our public parks and recreational areas. Key Responsibilities: · Perform general park maintenance duties, including litter collection and disposal.· Mowing and edging of grass, edges, roadways, sidewalks, curbs, etc.· Maintain landscaping by planting flowers, mowing lawns, trimming bushes, weeding flower beds, and watering plants.· Assist in the upkeep of park facilities, such as playgrounds, picnic areas, and restrooms.· Operate and maintain various tools and equipment used in park maintenance, such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers.· Perform basic repairs and maintenance of park equipment and infrastructure.· Ensure all park areas are safe, clean, and presentable for public use.· Report any hazards, damages, or maintenance needs to the Parks Maintenance Supervisor.· Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Qualifications: · Must be willing and able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.· Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.· No prior experience required, but experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or general maintenance is a plus.· Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.· Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.· Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.· Basic knowledge of operating and maintaining landscaping tools and equipment is desirable.
