This role involves comprehensive case management, ensuring adherence to relevant laws and regulations while providing guidance to non-attorney staff.Location St. Louis, MODutiesProactively communicate with clients to provide updates and claim statusInteract and negotiate with insurance companiesDraft case materials, pleadings, motions, and settlement agreementsEnsure accuracy and compliance of all prepared documentsRepresent clients at hearings, depositions, mediations, and other proceedingsRequirementsActive Bar license in MissouriMinimum of 1 year of law experienceActive Bar license in Illinois is preferredEducationJuris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law schoolCertificationsValid Bar license in Missouri; additional Illinois license preferredSkillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced work environmentExceptional organizational and time-management skillsCommitment to providing responsive and compassionate client serviceProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, SharePoint)Strong communication and interpersonal skillsUp-to-date knowledge of Workers’ Compensation lawBenefitsHealth, vision, and dental insurance3 weeks (120 hours) of paid time off401(k) matching retirement plan (up to 4% match)Paid holidaysFree on-site parkingEmphasis on work-life balanceOpportunity to be part of an energetic and stable team
