Practice Area: Workers' Compensation Law - General, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 2 Years, A law firm is seeking a Workers' Compensation Associate Attorney for their office in Moorestown, NJ.Job Overview:The Workers' Compensation Associate Attorney will be responsible for handling a caseload of workers’ compensation claims from inception through resolution. This includes legal research, drafting legal documents, client correspondence, and representing clients in hearings and trials.Duties:Review and analyze workers’ compensation claims filesConduct extensive legal research and draft legal documents, including client correspondence, discovery devices, summations, appeals, and appellate briefsMaintain an annual billable requirement of 1950 hoursRepresent clients at depositions and hearingsPrepare for trials and attend court proceedingsRetain and evaluate expert witnesses as neededRequirements:Minimum 2 years of experience practicing workers’ compensation law; experience in other practice areas is a plusJuris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-approved law schoolAdmitted to practice law in the state of New Jersey; admission in other states is advantageousSuperior analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong research abilities and excellent written and oral communication skillsProven ability to manage workload independently and collaborate effectively in a team environmentPrompt responsiveness to client inquiries via email and phoneExcellent client service skills and professional telephone mannerEducation and Certifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-approved law schoolAdmission to the New Jersey State Bar; admission in additional states is considered a plusSkills:Superior analytical and problem-solving abilitiesStrong research skillsExcellent written and oral communication skillsAbility to manage workload independently and thrive in a team environmentResponsive and professional client communication skillsBenefits Offered:Innovative financial incentive bonus program rewarding entrepreneurial initiativeProactive support and training for marketing objectivesExcellent Benefits, including 401k matchExceptional growth and advancement opportunities
