JOB DESCRIPTIONThe successful candidate will be responsible for the operation of a spiral winder and cut-off saws, as well as other miscellaneous equipment to fill customer orders.Essential Functions: Read and understand spec sheet and production orders to set-up machines correctly to produce a quality product. Measuring, calipering, and checking the overall quality of the tolerances per spec sheet. Understanding all machine operations to cut the product to spec sheet/customer specifications. Operate the machine effectively and efficiently to minimize waste. Analyze packaging and make adjustments when needed. Identifying quality deficiencies and ability to identify and perform corrective action. Ability to communicate finished product on production order. Comply with safety regulations/procedures and maintain clean and orderly work area. Must be willing to accept and receive supervision and assistance with regard to machine set-up and other essential tasks assigned. Full time, 1st Shift. Monday - Friday, 8 hours/day.Rate of pay: $17/hourRequired Education and Experience:1. High school education/GED.2. 1-2 years of manufacturing experience.Additional Eligibility Qualifications:1. Basic computer skills.2. Math skills.3. Mechanical ability.4. Attention to detailsPowered by JazzHR
