Title: Maintenance TechnicianLocation: Knox, INSalary: $31.27/hour (After 60 days of active time in position and solid performance review, eligible for rate increase)Schedule: Straight days (S/1)Shift Differential: $1.25/hour for afternoon and midnight shiftsWhite Flyer Targets: Manufacturing facilities in five states throughout the United States and is the leader in serving gun clubs and shooters.Focus:The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing remedial repairs, preventative maintenance, and emergency repairs.Essential Functions*: * Work with and/or lead the operating crew to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. * Troubleshoots and performs repairs on equipment. * Ensures operation of machinery and other production equipment by completing preventive maintenance. * Ability to diagnose defective mechanical parts and disassemble the components for repair. * Performs duties as assigned, including completing work order documentation and data entry into the computerized maintenance system. * Adheres to all safety requirements, including lockout/tagout and wearing required PPE.Position Requirements*: * A minimum of one year of recent related maintenance experience. * Must be proficient in using hand and power tools, micrometers, and calipers. * Advanced mechanical, troubleshooting, problem-solving skills and high-voltage electricity knowledge. * Must be able to interpret electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic diagrams. * Experience operating a forklift. * Ability to operate manual mills and lathes. * Fabrication and welding experience preferred. * Ability to wear a respirator when required. * Must have strong communication skills, be multi-tasking, detail-oriented, and be able to work independently and within a team environment. * Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods, climb ladders, work at heights, in weather elements and extreme temperatures, and lift up to 50 lbs. * Flexibility to be on call, work other shifts, and weekends as needed.What's in it for you?While many of our employees have worked at Olin for their entire career, we constantly striveto bring new people with new points of view into the company.Your career is important to us, and we work with you to create development plans that help you achieve your career goals.Our employees enjoy the following employment enhancements and more: * Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance * Fertility Benefits (lifetime maximum $25,000) * 401(k) with an employer matchandretirement contribution account * Variety of voluntary benefits, including supplemental life insurance, critical illness, and identity theft * Vacation Eligibility * Paid Holidays * Volunteer Time Paid Program * Educational Assistance Program * Employee Assistance Program * Diverse Employee NetworksStrong Careers Grow HereRooted in ourcorporatevalues, Olin continues to be the global leader in both ammunition and chemical manufacturing.
