Breakfast Cook - Weekends, Part-Time We are looking for someone with a passion for food and strong time management abilities who can provide clients with an exceptional dining experience. This position is for early birds! Early AM start time. We do have additional cook hours available in the evenings during the week as well if wanted, but we need this position to cover breakfast every weekend. Responsibilities: • Establish a system of food stations and stock them with all of the necessary ingredients for the shift• Interact with visitors, vendors, and associates while maintaining a professional and positive attitude• Cook food orders at stations by following established recipes and presentation standards for grilling, broiling, and sautéing menu items• Clean and sanitize all workstations, including counters, utensils, cooking equipment, and the refrigerator, in accordance with health and safety regulations• Guarantee that quality food is supplied, by adhering to specified storage and waste control requirements for meats, vegetables, fruits, and dairy products Qualifications: • Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent GED certification• Prior food service industry experience is highly desired• Ability to understand and comply with kitchen sanitation, safety and equipment usage, and food storage• Must be a hard worker with high attention to detail and have a strong work ethic Compensation: $17 - $17.50 hourly About Company: At Embassy Suites by Hilton Indianapolis North, we know it is the people who create the experience.
