The City of Middletown is seeking a qualified individual to fill the position of Water Treatment Assistant Lab Analyst. This is a skilled position which involves assisting the Lab Analyst with technical work performing quality testing, lead and copper sample collection and related tasks, and all other sampling events to ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Lab Analyst. Minimum Requirements: Must possess a valid Ohio Drivers License. Must obtain Ohio EPA Certification for Chemical and Microbiological analyses on potable water within 6 months of hire date. High School Diploma or GED. Experience in performing laboratory analyses with coursework in chemistry, biology, zoology, microbiology, mathematics and algebra; or any equivalent combination of experience.
