Come thrive with Volt Volt is hiring for a hybrid Warehouse Coordinator in Glendale, CA. As a Coordinator you will: Assist with coordination in a fascinating, fast paced, entertainment warehouse/store environment, completing the following tasks: Computer/desk: * Help with all online sports requests and creating new files using Excel and Word * Help verify online orders and releases * Creating shipping labels * Documenting inventory * Data entry * Answering store emails and questions on confluenceWarehouse: * Organizing/Counting/Labeling * Moving boxes (using pallet-jack and dolly) à May involve lifting up to 30lbs * Packing/shipping * Helping transfer products to stores * Special event preparation (at high volume) o May include working in person on some Fridays and SaturdaysStore: * Helping with visual moves/displays o Could involve setting fixtures as well as product * Packing online orders * Counting shipment/inventory * Organizing back areas * Printing name badges This is a full-time 3-month hybrid (3 days on-site, 2 days remote) contract opportunity. The ideal candidate will have: * Excellent communication and organization skills. Ability to troubleshoot problems regarding products, services, or other general information of interest to customers. * Excellent analytical and observation skills to maintain high standards of daily store operation. * Sound knowledge of sales and marketing strategies * Creativity in thinking up new plans to increase the productivity of each store. A demonstrable capacity to keep abreast of new trends. * Professional appearance and manner. * Computer literacy, specifically in: MS Word and Excel, Keynote, SAP, Retail Pro and, Adobe Creative suite products. Ability to manage staff (managerial experience). * Experience with visual merchandising and displays, Ability to manage multiple projects at once effectively * Knowledge of uploading web-based content * Highly motivated and can motivate/lead and coach a team Pay rate: $25.00/hr *Pay rate offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
