RESPONSIBILITIES Vetco Hospital veterinarian relief shifts may include well visits, puppy / kitten appointments, preventive care, diagnostic workups, outpatient surgeries, and dental procedures and more . Before your first shift as a contractor , you will connect with our staff to let them know how you like to work and to learn more about the hospital . You can expect to see a manageable number of pets per day, with 15- and 30-minute appointment blocks. RELIEF VET Requirements ( non-negotiable ) Doctor of Veterinary Medicine state license in good standing Appropriate state-specific licensing to perform all shift functions DEA in good standin g Ability to provide Certification of Insurance (COI) + license defense policy Compliance with all local state and federal mandate s Vetco Total Care general practice hospitals and Vetco Vaccine Clinics represent diverse community of compassionate veterinarians, licensed veterinary technicians, and assistants .
