This Manager will need to wear many hats and is expected to lead, participate hands-on, and assist team in cell culture runs as to meet the client timelines. The team supports the development, scale-up, testing and technical transfer of numerous processes and modalities.Qualifications * At least 3 years of experience working in upstream small scale and pilot labs * Experience maintaining and managing lab-based equipment (including coordinating with vendor-supported maintenance) * Experience with building, set-up and maintenance of small scale and pilot scale bioreactors, including execution of cell culture studies in both small scale and pilot labs * Adherent cell line experience (including CHO and HEK) * Technical transfer experience * Minimum of 2 years of successful independent leadership experience, including team succession planning, developing and managing schedules, establishing and monitoring KPIs and metrics * Proficiency with ELN and Microsoft Suite * Client service oriented, with effective communication skills * B.S., 5+ years of experience or M.S. 4+ years of experience or Ph.D., 3+ years of experience plus leadership experienceAdditional Information * Position is full-time, Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm, with evening and weekend work as needed.
