Revology Cars is hiring an Upholstery Area Manager at the Orlando, Florida facility where we build new Ford-licensed reproduction 1965-68 Mustang and Shelby GT automobiles. ABOUT THE JOB The Upholstery Area Manager is responsible for meeting the Upholstery department's production, quality, and cost targets while maintaining a safe work environment. Key responsibilities include: Lead, motivate and guide a team of skilled upholsterers to deliver high-quality automotive interiors on time and within budget. Oversee the entire upholstery process, including material selection, cutting, sewing, and installation. Ensure all upholstery work meets quality standards and manufacturer specifications. Maintain rigorous quality control measures to ensure consistent application of upholstery techniques. Conduct regular inspections, address any quality issues, and collaborate with quality assurance teams to resolve discrepancies. Efficiently allocate resources, including people, materials, and equipment, to meet production targets and complete repair orders while minimizing waste and maximizing efficiency. Establish and track KPIs related to upholstery application, productivity, and quality. Analyze data to identify trends, address deviations, and implement corrective actions. Identify training needs and provide ongoing coaching to enhance the skills and knowledge of upholstery department staff. Stay updated on industry advancements and best practices to ensure a competitive edge. Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations within the upholstery area. Promote a culture of safety consciousness and ensure that all team members are trained to operate equipment and handle materials safely. ABOUT REVOLOGY CARS We are the first company ever licensed by Ford Motor Company to build a new reproduction Ford automobile and are presently the only company in the world licensed by Ford to build a new reproduction 1960s Mustang. REQUIREMENTS Associate or bachelor's degree in business, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or related fields. Relevant certifications in upholstery and/or management. A minimum of five years of experience in upholstery processes with at least 10 years in a leadership or supervisory role. Lean Manufacturing experience is preferred. Detailed technical knowledge of upholstery techniques, materials, and tools. Proven leadership skills, including the ability to inspire and guide a diverse team toward common goals. Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to identify process improvements and drive operational excellence. Effective communication skills to facilitate collaboration and convey technical information clearly. Familiar with Microsoft Office applications. Ability to communicate effectively in Spanish is preferred. PAY AND BENEFITS Base salary range is $105,355 to $128,885, depending on skills and experience. 10% performance bonus. Company-sponsored medical, dental, and vision coverage and Employee Assistance Program (EAP). 401(k) with up to 4% company match. Three weeks of paid vacation plus one week of sick leave. Paid holidays include Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day.
