Discover a more connected as Underground Cable Construction Supervisor!At Communications Construction Group as an Underground Cable Construction Supervisor you'll be responsible for the coordination, delegation, supervision and quality control of onsite work for the projects underground cable construction crews.Connecting you to great benefitsCompany VehiclePaid TrainingWeekly PaychecksPaid Time Off, Parental Leave, and HolidaysInsurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance)401(k) w/ Company MatchStock Purchase PlanEducation ReimbursementLegal InsuranceDiscounts on gym memberships, pet insurance, and much more!What you'll do as an Underground Cable Construction SupervisorResponsible for performing field inspections of cable/fiber/coax placement, splicing and construction work.Assist in building out/upgrading both underground aspects of the networkRead and interpret CATV construction drawings and blueprintsTrack daily production for crew and achieve schedule demands at all timesCompletes walk-through with foreman and customerEvaluate crew member's performance and provide coachingResponsible for workforce compliance with all safety regulations including all OSHA requirements.Interact with subcontractors and field personnel regarding work completion, and resolve conflicts when necessary.Responsible for vehicle maintenance and inventory control of all on-site equipment and tools.At times, may be required to perform work along with field personnelWhat youll needTo be 18 years of age or olderAuthorization to work in the United States for this companyValid driver's licenseExtensive experience and knowledge of all aspects of underground cable constructionExperience and knowledge in Telecommunications industryWorking knowledge of engineering work prints, ability to understand and interpret construction documentsKnowledge of outside plant safety proceduresAbility to direct crews and communicate with teammates and customersAbility to work nights and weekends, if necessaryWhy work with usYour career here is more than just a job - it's your pathway to opportunity.
