We are currently searching for dedicated Turret Setup Operator to join our team. R&M Manufacturing was founded in 1968 to produce precision sheet metal components. Our facility is open 7 days per week with 1st and 2nd shifts working Monday - Thursday and a Weekend shift on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. In this role, you will: Set up and run turret setup machines, making acceptable parts in efficient times Complete all required production paperwork according to job specifications Inspect parts in-process and finished parts Observe machine operation to detect workpiece defects or machine malfunction Keep a clean and safe working environment in the shop area To succeed in this role, you must: Read and interpret engineering drawings/blueprints Perform routine preventative maintenance and machine inspections Modify existing tooling and develop new procedures for new parts going through the turret Demonstrate established knowledge and skill in performing turret set-ups and operation Report any and all problems, which may affect safety, equipment, tooling, and/or quality We are seeking a team player who is reliable and punctual and willing to commit to our fabrication team having fun while working safe and producing quality efficiently. We are also willing to train the correct individuals! Our cutting edge, 100,000 square foot manufacturing facility is equipped with: Wire EDM CNC Machining Centers Grinders CNC turret punches (20 to 35 tons) Lasers (Up to 4000 Watts 60x120 sheet size) CNC press brakes (45 to 185 tons) Punch presses (Progressive and Staged Tooling) (45 to 250 tons) Resistance welders (75 KVA to 250 KVA) Robotic Weld Cell Tig, Mig, Plasma and Pulse Arc welding There's more to R&M Manufacturing than creating components.
