Korn Ferry Military Division has partnered with our client on their search for a Turbomachinery Mechanic in the Northern Philadelphia PA area. * This company is seeking candidates with U.S. military experience (HIGHLY PREFERABLE.) * REQUIRED: At least 3 years experience in industrial mechanical repairs. Experience with steam turbines and centrifugal compressors is highly preferred and will give you a huge advantage over other candidates! Compensation: $75,000-98,000 annually ($30.00-40.00/hr - $62-83K base + OT) Relo available. What You Will Do: Disassemble, clean, inspect, repair, and rebuild steam turbines, steam trip and throttle valves, centrifugal and reciprocating compressors. Work alongside a team of mechanics, machinists, weld technicians, inspectors, engineers and project managers to repair critical turbomachinery equipment. Use hand-held tablet devices to record visual inspection findings, dimensional data and measurements, and photograph damage. Make repair recommendations based on inspection findings. Review bills of materials and manufacturing drawings to compile list of replacement parts. Review repair process and implement repairs. Work safely, reporting any unsafe conditions or suggestions for improvement to shop leadership Education and Work Experience At least 4 years US Military experience highly preferred. 3+ years' experience in industrial mechanical repairs required. Background in repair of steam turbines and centrifugal compressors is preferred.
