Tact Staff is seeking a travel nurse RN Pediatrics ER - Emergency Room for a travel nursing job in New Brunswick, New Jersey.Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Pediatrics ER - Emergency Room Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/11/2024 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours Employment Type: Travel**MUST HAVE SCHED AVAILABILITY 2/3 HOLIDAYS. ALL REQUESTS MUST BE APPROVED BEFORE SIGNINGAuto Offer---Patient Ratio: 1:6...1.5 Years of experience required---First time travelers are accepted...Every other weekend (Sat/Sun) and holiday required---BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC required; NIH preferred--- Float to PICU, Peds, and NICU for appropriate assignments. Float units are flexible except RN must to PICU or Peds floor---No block scheduling---Locals accepted---Patient Mix: Birth - 21yrs; High acuity trauma patients---Required Experience: Critical care or ED background; Trauma, IV proficiency (A-Lines/Central Lines/Starting IVs), 12 lead EKG, interpret and manager dysrhythmias, insertion of NG tube, emergency medicine proficiency, applying and managing splints, fractures and casting, overdose, managing violent behavior, hypothermia protocol, triage, respiratory proficiency, shock trauma/burns, and EPIC required---Tact Medical Staffing Job ID #490769.
