Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Mattoon, Illinois.Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/23/2024 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: TravelJob DescriptionAs a registered nurse - progressive care unit (RN PCU), you will help care for patients who need a moderate level of monitoring and assessment but whose conditions do not require the resources of the intensive care unit. In other words, it is an intermediary level of hospital care. Telemetry units, intermediate care units, direct observation units, step-down units, or transitional care units are sometimes called progressive care units.
