Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Step Down Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 19:00-07:00 Guaranteed Hours: Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Pennsylvania Certifications: Required Must-Have: Experience in a step-down unit Job Description: - Participate in orientation every week on Mondays - Work in a tertiary care regional referral hospital with various specialized units - Provide care in a Level 1 Trauma Center and Level 3 Regional Intensive Care Nursery - Handle high-risk obstetrics - Complete all Pennsylvania clearance requirements, including Child Abuse History Clearance and FBI Fingerprinting - Register online for necessary fingerprint processing and print confirmation for submission - Obtain PA State Police Clearance for employment - Be flexible to float to other units as required - Familiarity with Epic EHR system preferred - Work with a patient population ranging from adolescents to adults - Adhere to dress code requirements by wearing specified scrub colors This position is for a highly skilled Registered Nurse with experience in a step-down unit. The role requires a compassionate personality and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. You must be prepared to meet various clearance and certification requirements prior to commencing employment.
