Travel Nurse RN - CVOR - $2,440 per week

Description:
Job Details -Education - Participates in identifying and meeting learning needs of self. Attends education programs based on identified learning needs. With assistance, uses patient education materials relevant to patient population. -Evaluation of Care - Identifies expected patient outcomes. Participates in discussion with members of the interdisciplinary team in evaluation of patient care. Communicates relevant information to promote continuity of care. -Implementation - Demonstrates competence in care of patients with complex problems, including physical, psychosocial, educational and safety aspects of care. Performs bedside point of care testing as required. Utilizes standards, policies and procedures in delivery of care. -Leadership - Develops goals to promote professional growth. Participates in development and achievement of unit goals and performance improvement activities. -Patient Assessment - Recognizes data to determine priorities for care. Assesses and anticipates discharge needs of patients and families. -Planning - Collaborates with patient/family to prepare or update the plan of care. Identifies and addresses cultural and ethnic issues in planning patient care. -Research - Reads journals that may be applicable to practice. Brings ideas and questions to the staff for assessment of applicability. The CVOR RN works primarily on cardiac cases along with a team of cardiac surgeons and nurses. Job Requirements -One (1) year of nursing experience. -One (1) year of experience as a CVOR RN. Additional Details -Preferred Skills & Experience: N/A
