Binding Minds is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a travel job in Brawley, California.Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 10/07/2024 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: TravelRequired certifications: NMTCB or ARRT and California Department of public health NMT --- Under general supervision, performs routine to complex nuclear medicine procedures utilizing radioactive materials and radioactive pharmaceuticals in accordance with established nuclear medicine guidelines and protocols. --- Performs radionuclide imaging of organs, organ systems, compartments physiologic functions, assays of body fluids, tissues and radio bioassays. --- Demonstrates and applies knowledge of Nuclear Medicine imaging. --- Demonstrates and applies knowledge of principles of radiation safety. --- Prepares and positions patient for procedure by using established Nuclear Medicine protocols to achieve the highest quality image.
