Epic Travel Staffing Allied is seeking a travel CVOR Technologist for a travel job in Columbus, Ohio.Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CVOR Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 07/08/2024 Duration: 12 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: TravelJob Opportunities Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a--Travel - CVOR TechShift: Days, 7a-5:30p, 10x4, 40hrs per week, no weekends,--every other holidayLength: 12 WeeksCall: Split Vascular Call for 1/3 of the monthRequirements: 2 years of experience as a surgical tech Must have strong endovascular experience Large Hospital experience (Level I or Level II Trauma Center experience required) Must have experience scrubbing a variety of cases including endovascular, general and ortho AHA BLS Graduated from an accredited (CAAHEP) surgical technologist school or equivalent military training or 10+ years' experience as a Surgery Technician High school diploma or GEDOther Details: Traveler's permanent address must be greater than 100 miles-- COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Not Required**Must have strong endovascular experience**Please confirm travelers competency and frequency of these common surgeries when submitting:AngioplastyThrombectomyCarotid Endarterectomy (CEA)Transcarotid Artery Revascularization (TCAR)Thoracic Endovascular Aortic Repair (TEVAR)Traveler's permanent address must be greater than 100 miles-----Job: Certified or non certified surgical tech---Shift: 4x10's Days (0); no weekends; every other holiday---Call: Split Vascular Call for 1/3 of the month (can discuss with Mgr)Minimum Requirements (4019):---2 years of experience as a surgical tech---Large Hospital experience (Level I or Level II Trauma Center experience required)---Graduated from an accredited (CAAHEP) surgical technologist school or equivalent military training or 10+ years' experience as a Surgery Technician.---High school diploma or GED---BLS (AHA) certification---Must have Endovascular experience with experience in general and ortho preferredSUMMARY and PURPOSE OF POSITIONThe Surgical Technologist and/or the Certified Surgical Technologist prepares the room and gathers supplies needed for surgical procedures; delivers instruments to the surgeon and other members of the surgical team intra operatively; may function as second assistant to the surgeon; assists in the proper decontamination of the room, supplies and instruments post operatively.Candidate must have experience scrubbing a variety of cases including endovascular, general and ortho. Other service lines include GYN, General, Neuro, Ortho, Trauma. Department consists of 20 OR suites and an average volume or census of approximately 50.
