Position objective: The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for providing quality and efficient transportation/service to our customers. As the Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for working with 3rd party transporters to move trucks across the country in a timely manner. This person plays an intricate role in building relationships with both internal and external customers. We are looking for a team player who is motivated and has strong communication skills and adaptable. 100% Employer paid benefit premiums - Health, Dental, and Vision Generous Paid Time Off - Up to 4 weeks Flexible schedule Paid Maternity & Paternity Leave Essential Duties and Responsibilities Proactively communicate pertinent shipping details to and from carriers, customers, and internal/external teams Coordinate customer delivery dates and times Obtain all adequate information to prepare logistics arrangements with 3rd party transporters Answer phones/emails to assist customers in a positive friendly manner Assist customers as needed with inquiries or transportation issues Provide thorough and accurate documentation to customer accounts through strong verbal/written communication Assist with any other duties assigned Skills and Experience Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Problem solver/solution driven Solid computer experience including Microsoft office platforms (Outlook, Excel, Word) Highly organized and good time management Attentive to details Remain calm under pressure Punctual and dependable Ability to multitask Adaptability/flexibility to change as company required Must have 2 years office experience
