The ideal candidate should be barred in New Jersey and New York (or able to become barred in one), with a minimum of 4 years of transactional real estate experience. Experience with redevelopment work in New Jersey is considered an additional bonus. Duties:Provide legal counsel on commercial real estate financing matters, with a focus on the borrower side.Handle commercial leasing transactions, representing both landlords and tenants.Assist in acquisitions and dispositions, including purchase and sale agreements.Conduct legal research and due diligence for real estate transactions.Advise clients on legal issues related to redevelopment work in New Jersey.Draft and negotiate real estate-related contracts and agreements.Collaborate with clients, senior attorneys, and support staff. Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Barred in New Jersey and New York (or able to become Barred in one).4+ years of transactional real estate experience with a private firm.Significant experience with commercial real estate financing (preferably borrower side).Significant experience with commercial leasing (landlord and tenant side).Experience with acquisitions and dispositions considered a bonus.Experience with redevelopment work in New Jersey considered an additional bonus. Skills:Significant experience in commercial real estate financing and leasing.Strong knowledge of real estate transactions, acquisitions, and dispositions.Legal research and due diligence skills.Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.Ability to work collaboratively within a legal team.
