Practice Area: General Practice - Real Estate & Corporate, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 3 Years, A law firm seeks an experienced and motivated Transactional Attorney to join its team in Houston, Texas. This is a full-time, on-site role for an attorney with 3-5 years of experience in real estate, mergers and acquisitions, and general business representation. The successful candidate will work closely with senior attorneys and clients, handling a wide variety of transactional matters while providing high-quality legal advice and documentation.Duties:Handle real estate transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and general business representation matters.Draft and review various transaction and business agreements, including purchase and sale agreements, leases, MA agreements, joint venture agreements, and organizational documents.Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to provide comprehensive and commercially practical legal advice.Manage assignments efficiently and ensure timely completion of projects.Take ownership of projects and become a trusted advisor to clients.Assist with legal matters outside of primary areas of expertise and demonstrate a willingness to grow professionally.Requirements:3-5 years of transactional experience, with a focus on real estate, mergers and acquisitions, and general business representation.Strong experience in drafting and negotiating business agreements and legal documents.Ability to manage multiple projects and provide high-quality legal services under tight deadlines.Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.Strong desire to grow as a business advisor and attorney.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school with superior academic performance (preferably from a Tier 1 law school, top 25% of class, and/or law journal experience).Certifications:Licensed to practice law in the state of Texas.Authorized to work in the United States.Skills:Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.Proficient in managing client relationships and providing commercially driven legal advice.Location:Houston, Texas (On-site)Benefits:Collaborative and professional work environment.Opportunities for professional growth and development.This position provides an excellent opportunity for a transactional attorney to further develop their legal skills and expertise in real estate, MA, and business law while working in a dynamic law firm environment.
