The ideal candidate will have substantial knowledge and expertise in transactional law and provide legal advice and guidance on business transactions.Duties:Draft and negotiate various transactional documents, including contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.Conduct legal research and analysis to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.Advise clients on corporate governance matters and business transactions.Handle mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings, and other corporate transactions.Provide strategic legal advice to clients regarding business decisions and risk management.Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the South Carolina State Bar and in good standing.Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing transactional law in a law firm setting.Strong understanding of corporate, commercial, and business law principles.Certifications:Certification in Business Law or related field (preferred).Skills:Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Exceptional legal drafting and negotiation abilities.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively.Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.Proficiency in legal research tools and software.Additional Information:This position offers competitive compensation and benefits package.Full-time position based in Columbia, SC.
