About This Role: We are excited to welcome a driven and enthusiastic HR Employee Resource & Training Coordinator to join our HR and Training team. Reporting to the Director of Training, this position supports key HR administrative functions, coordinates employee events, and delivers training programs that impact the entire organization. This role offers a lot of variety from week to week. During monthly orientation, you'll spend time welcoming and training new employees, and at other times, you may be conducting classroom or remote training, supporting recruitment, responding to HR-related inquiries, engaging with staff about benefits or leave, creating or updating training materials, or helping plan and set up staff and board celebrations. Key Responsibilities: Participate in creating and delivering course content for product knowledge, sales skills, and system implementations. Provide administrative support to the HR department, including managing the HR inbox, processing employee documentation, and assisting with recruitment processes. Conduct new hire orientation and deliver ongoing training programs for employees in their first year. Support the coordination and communication of employee events such as staff celebrations, personal milestones, and recognition programs. Collaborate with the Director of Training to maintain and update training content. Assist in maintaining accurate training materials, schedules, and reporting. Our Ideal Candidate: Our ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn and grow in a dynamic environment, with a strong emphasis on being an agile learner. If you have a passion for helping others develop to their full potential than this may be a good role for you. A background in lending or financial institutions is highly valued and will give you an edge in this role. We encourage candidates with various training backgrounds, whether you have supported peers through on-the-job coaching or have formal experience in education. No prior HR experience is required-training will be provided to help you succeed and thrive. What You Bring: Experience in a financial institution or lending environment is a plus. Any prior experience in training or helping peers develop, formal or informal, is highly valued. Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR-related software. A passion for fostering a supportive learning environment and a commitment to employee development.
