Toddler Classroom Lead Teacher

Summary We are looking for a Toddlers Teacher to encourage the healthy growth and development of the children in our center. You will teach and supervise them while also motivating them to use their self-help skills and exercise their imagination. Must be willing/able to work opening and/or closing shifts. Duties Design and follow a full schedule of activities and discover suitable teaching materials. Provide basic care and caregiving activities. Use a wide range of teaching methods (stories, media, indoor or outdoor games, drawing etc.) to enhance the child?s abilities. Evaluate children?s performance to make sure they are on their appropriate developmental path. Requirements Confident and comfortable communicating with parents and updating them on the progress of their children. Collaborate with other colleagues. Adhere with teaching standards and safety regulations as established by the center and licensing bodies. Proven experience as a childcare / daycare teacher. Reliable transportation to/from work site. Excellent knowledge of child development and up-to-date education methods. Patience, flexibility, and genuine care for children?s developmental needs. Strong communication and time management skills Certificate in first aid and CPR (will be required during employment). Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card (Required) High school or equivalent (Required) Negative TB test results for the past 6 months Benefits Paid time off (after identified full time employment achieved) Professional development assistance Bonus pay (when identified milestones achieved) Offer childcare for staffs' children (if space available)
