Summary: The Acute Care Therapy Team at the UNC-Hospitals in Hillsborough, NC is accepting applications for an Acute Care OT Per Diem position. This position will offer therapy services within a variety of acute care patient populations at our Hillsborough Hospital. The OT will work closely with a team of experienced therapists focused on post surgical orthopedic and medicine patients. This therapist must have excellent time management, communication and organizational skills, and remain flexible in a fast-paced environment. The commitment is to work a minimum of two weekend day each month, and there are opportunities to pick up additional hours as needed. Completes OT documentation in the medical record per department guidelines and completes department records for billing and statistics 2. Plans and coordinates clinical programs in response to patient needs, technologies, clinical practices, regulations and reimbursement. Provides clinical supervision and teaching for OT students or staff. Evaluates the learner's performance. Selects and performs appropriate Occupational Therapy (OT) evaluation procedures to identify and assess problems. Education Requirements: ● Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
