We are currently building our Engineering team and we are looking for a top-tier talented Test Engineer to contribute to our fast paced and dynamic business of optical network module, circuit pack and subsystem. The ideal candidate will have expertise with Python. Molex leverages its optical experience to produce some of the highest performing, field-proven optical components in the market. We apply our strong systems and photonic integration expertise to offer a range of products that deliver 100-Mbps to 400-Gbps data rates and comply with Ethernet, SONET/SDH, Fibre Channel and CPRI standards. Additionally, we design our products to address many market segments, such as data center, access, metro and long-haul applications What You Will Do * Execute automated tests, analyze test results, meticulously debug defects, and further improve automated Python tests * Create Python scripts to post-process, visualize datasets generated by automated tests and extract meaningful insights from test data * Generate comprehensive test reports and perform data analysis to guide performance improvement and design enhancements * Work closely with other engineering groups to debug defects and to enhance test coverage Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field * At least 2 years of experience in testing and test automation development with Python * Experience with automation practices and solutions for lab testing * Hands-on lab experience * Analytical skills What Will Put You Ahead * Experience in the datacom and telecom industry * Experience with optical transceivers For this role, we anticipate paying $70,000 - $140,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
