Temporary Accommodation Officer – Homelessness Prevention and Support – Leicester. Are you a passionate, dedicated Accommodation Officer looking for your next role 4Recruitment Services are recruiting an Accommodation Officer to join the Homelessness Services based in Leicester. Umbrella Rate: £15.82 - £17.41 based on experience. Hours of Work: Rota basis covering days/nights. Duration: Asap – 12 weeks initially. Information of the Role: To provide a safe, supportive, and structured environment which aims to manage challenging behaviour and maintains the health and safety of the service users, visitors and staff based at the centre. To be responsible for undertaking the admission, interviewing and induction of the Service Users on arrival. Maintain routine and confidential records. Conduct twice-daily welfare checks on Service Users. Receive and process accommodation charges. Invoke the Sanctions Policy for non-payment of chargers following procedures. Undertake administrative processes including report writing and monitoring and maintain accurate and up to date records using the Microsoft Office package and internal databases. Resolve conflict in difficult and sensitive situations in adhering to policies. Deal with emergency situations, involving management as required. Ensure health and safety requirements are always met, service users/staff welfare and property management. Undertake general domestic duties e. g. emergency cleaning, laundry and the provision and service of meals, snacks, and beverages. Oversee the maintenance and security of the property and ensure that all repairs are reported and arranged promptly. Maintain discipline, following approved guidelines, including the eviction of Service Users following procedures. Build and maintain successful relationships with partners and other agencies.
