Job Title: Technology & Security Manager Location: Los Angeles, CA Duration: Fixed Term until October 2028 Reports to: COO Background and Job Purpose: The Technology & Security Manager will help manage and implement the delivery of the ticketing system and services for the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games. In this role, you will be working closely with the Eventim Project Team, the LA2028 Organizing Committee and other key stakeholders. The Technology & Security Manager will focus on providing a single point of contact for all technology-related matters for the client and is responsible for project management for all technology-related aspects of the project. You will take the lead in developing and maintaining the technical Key Project Documents, infrastructure planning, availability monitoring, cybersecurity planning, management of technical infrastructure, and technology architecture designs. Additionally, the Technology & Security Manager will also be the main point of contact for EVENTIM’s technical teams working from headquarters in Germany. Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities: Project Management: Identification and scheduling of main project milestones, creating and maintaining project plans to track the progress of all technical aspects of the project. Authorship of regular project management reports and participation in regular project Steering Committees along with other senior members of the project team. Contract & Change Management: Drafting, maintaining and updating the Key Project Documents for technology. Office IT and infrastructure: Oversight of hardware and software used by the local project team, brief IT onboarding for new team members, telecommunications coordination including activities related to internet/VPN connection at- and in cooperation with the Organizing Committee office. Supporting activities related to the core team's VPN & firewall clearances. Ticketing infrastructure & Cybersecurity: Management of regular performance and security penetration testing, risk management, threat detection planning, disaster recovery planning, documentation of results. Regular creation and distribution of system monitoring & availability reporting, coordinating regular system maintenance windows, coordinating regular backups and replication of data to staging and pre-production systems. Managing 3rd party connectivity with the ticketing system: Coordination of VPN & firewall clearances, VPN tunnels, Azure. Key Knowledge, Experience, and Qualifications Required: Excellent project management methodology with leadership capabilities. Experienced in delivering large-scale multi-site technical operations, ideally with experience from the live event or ticketing industry. Excellent communication skills and persuasive in gaining agreement between all team members. Proficient in system and infrastructure modelling, documentation Strong knowledge of the latest Cybersecurity landscape Excellent issue and conflict management with experience handling availability disruptions and service level agreements. Excellent understanding in performance and security testing of applications used under high demand online sale conditions. Skilled in technical contract design, negotiation, and implementation Fluent English essential. German would be an advantage.
