They can send you a link to apply directly so they can receive credit!What You Will DoImportant ResponsibilitiesMaintain service truck. Load, unload, and operate tools and equipment including:- Crescent and pipe wrenches- Pliers and screwdrivers- Meters and regulators- Carbon monoxide testers- Combustible gas indicators- LaddersTurn gas service on and off. Install, remove, adjust, and repair meters, regulators, and related equipment. Examine and adjust all types of gas fired equipment.Investigate customer related orders and emergency situations including:- High bills- Fumes- Pressure problems- Possible leaksInvestigate accidents in which natural gas might have been a factor.Consult with customers, dealers, and installers on gas piping and related equipment.Train and manage employees performing customer service activities.Maintain mulitple records including:- Orders completed- Investigations completed- Customer information- Miles driven- Meter inventory- Leak cards- Meter reads- Timesheets- Service OrdersRegular and reliable attendance is required in performance of job.Employee may be perform additional responsibilities as assigned.What You Will NeedProficiencyExperience in:- Customer service.- Use, function, maintenance, and repair of tools and equipment applicable to position.- Application basic arithmetic: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division (tested). Apply formulas to calculate load requirements.Working knowledge of transmission and distribution pipeline system operations.Company and governmental customer service/safety proceduresGas appliance and gas piping codes and requirementsElectrical and mechanical components of gas-fired equipmentBasic, advanced, and specialized customer service activitiesCustomer Service System and customer accounting proceduresUse two way radios and FMS system (where applicable)PragmaCad/MoblitFSO/CGIMaximoTrain and direct; knowledge of personnel policies.Interpreting maps, atlas pages, house numbers, blueprints, wiring diagrams, pipe sizing tables, and flow charts.Read and write fluently in English.Minimum/PreferredApplicable driver's licenseLift and move objects weighing up to 20 pounds 40 50 times a day; up to 40 pounds 7 10 times a day; over 50 pounds 2 3 times a day.Climb ladders; stoop, kneel, and crawl on floors and bare ground to access, adjust, and repair gas appliances, meters, and equipment.React immediately to emergency situations to prevent injury to self and others.Smell odorant in natural gas.Operate tools and equipment required.Communicate and exchange information and instructions.Visual abilities to perform job duties.Diversity at ONE GasInclusion & Diversity is so important to us that we made it one of our core values, values that guide and direct our actions as we go about our daily business.
