Philadelphia Country Club is seeking a Team Engagement Manager to work closely with all departments of the Club to ensure we are inspiring our team and providing a positive workplace for all employees guided by our core values. S/he will instill the culture of excellence, innovation, and engagement that will empower every team member to create the best Membership experiences possible and seek solutions to anticipate issues before they arise. Essential Functions & Responsibilities: Collaborate with all departments to develop and implement employee communications strategy. Work closely with Human Resource Director to evaluate and enhance employee onboarding program. Facilitates employee onboarding program to include new hire orientation, company culture and mission overview, and service standards training. Work closely with department leaders to develop dynamic recruitment plans. Leverage communication skills to partner with local colleges and universities to implement into the overall strategic plan. Develop innovative culture-building ideas that create team cohesiveness, embracing the Club's mission and core values. Work closely with Human Resources and department leaders to create professional development programs for managers and staff. Makes recommendations for consideration of Education and Training budget. Assists in creation of training programs for all staff including management and leadership on items such as soft skills, emotional intelligence, and other various topics based on need. Responsible for attending Employee events, taking pictures and videos, and writing recaps for the Employee Newsletter. Ensures that all Club Members receive courteous, prompt and professional attention to all their needs. Upholds the highest operational and Member service standards. Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Human Resources or a related field. Or an equivalent combination of education and previous experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. At least three or more years of talent management/human resources experience, preferably in a Hospitality environment. A passion and competence for Human Resources, Recruitment, and creating a high-performance culture. Proven experience and in-depth knowledge of full-cycle recruitment, sourcing, brand awareness, and sourcing and selection techniques. An energetic, forward-thinking and creative individual with high ethical standards, good judgment and an appropriate professional image. Is discreet and behaves with a high degree of professionalism. Excellent and creative problem-solving, project management, execution, and change management skills; ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant. Possesses excellent written and oral communication skills and is comfortable speaking and presenting content in front of groups of people at all levels of the organization. The employee frequently lifts, carries, or otherwise moves objects weighing up to 30 pounds and will spend over 4 hours daily standing or walking. Depending on the requirements of the event, this role may be performed indoors or outdoors. Must meet PCC standards for uniform, grooming, and hygiene.
