Summary Daycare Teacher Assistant A home-based facility that provides a warm and caring environment for children to be cared for in a way that allows for complete development and readiness for their school-age years. Enrichment activities are offered to round out their experiences. Learning is based on themes to add to their excitement for school. 14 years of teaching Toddler and Preschool professionally. We are looking for a Childcare Assistant to be responsible for providing assistance to the teacher at the home daycare. The assistant will work closely with the teacher in conducting daily duties such as preparing and serving meals, helping children with their bathroom breaks, assisting with daily reports, recording attendance, engaging in play, assisting to put children to sleep, and creating a safe environment. To be successful as a Daycare Teacher assistant, you must possess a passion for children and exercise patience with them. You should display a friendly and positive attitude and greet parents and children. Ultimately, you should constantly monitor and supervise the children in your care to ensure their safety Duties Daycare Teacher Assistant Responsibilities: Providing support for the teacher. Monitoring and supervising the children constantly. Assisting the teacher in maintaining a safe and positive environment. Cultivating relationships with children, parents, and guardians. Alerting the Childcare Teacher to emergencies. Preparing and serving meals and snacks. Greeting parents and children as they come into care and providing feedback regarding the children's day. Adhering to procedures in changing diapers. Assisting with sand, water, or playground activities. Assisting in putting children to sleep. Requirements Childcare Assistant Requirements: Must Be Able to Pass Background and Fingerprint Check High School Diploma or equivalent Able to attend annual training Must complete a notarized affidavit prior to hire. Job Type: Part-time Pay: $9.00 - $15.00 per hour Benefits Dental
