Predicate Logic is looking for a motivated Systems Engineer III to join our team in Philadelphia, PA. Predicate Logic also has offices in Chesapeake, Virginia, specializing in communications engineering, training, and Cybersecurity, and in Charleston, South Carolina, supporting the Navy and Marine Corps programs through Naval Information Warfare Center Charleston. SECURITY CLEARANCE: Applicant must be eligible for a Department of Defense (DoD) personnel security clearance. RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for the planning, design, evaluation, and troubleshooting of mission-critical, multi-level secure, Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) systems. Implement secure protocol suites and configure communication media with in-line encryption devices, concentrators, and various serial devices. Conduct research to solve complex problems and provide input for future modernization efforts. Resolve difficult interoperability problems between integrated communications stations and production networks. May work in a lab environment to test system designs and provide test report feedback. Participate in Engineering reviews as required. Provide technical representation at meetings with senior staff as required in support of designated Operating Authority systems. Ability to configure CISCO routers and switches locally and remotely. In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP protocols. Knowledge and experience with IP Multicast - Emphasis on WAN environments. Ability to establish local and global DNS. In-depth knowledge of network architectures and associated equipment including, but not limited to zones, screening devices, and typical design. Working knowledge of various routing protocols. Operational experience with email delivery, specifically including POP3, SMTP and IMAP. Familiarity with direct attached and network-attached storage devices, protocols, and techniques to include iSCSI. EXPERIENCE: Seven (7) years of professional experience. Five (5) years of relevant experience in Systems Engineering, design integrating systems associated with US Navy HM&E Submarine Communication and Electromagnetic Systems. EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Engineering discipline . Must be Cyber Security Work Force (CSWF) certified for Information Assurance Technician Level II (IAT-II). This requires one of the following certifications: CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security + CE, CND or SSCP. Must have one of these certifications at time of hire and it must remain active.
