Summary We are seeking a full time camp counselor for Augustana Early Learning Center's Summer Explorers program! Counselors will actively supervise a class of 13 students between the ages of 5 and 12. Enjoys museums, hikes, and water play with campers, along with art and learning activities. Duties Will work with their group each day to guide them through pre-planned activities, field trips and water play. They will observe all CDEC (State Licensing) guidelines for active supervision of children, engage them in play, while also maintaining clear boundaries and behavior expectations. Requirements Must be 18 plus years old, must have at least 480 hours of proven experience working with children between the ages of 5 to 12 Must pass all State-mandated background checks Must be able to walk long distances and be outdoors for extended periods of time Hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm, M-F with two ten minutes breaks. Full timeSeasonal Nice To Haves Preferred: Willing to train to drive a 14 person vehicle. Benefits Paid July 4 & 5 holiday
