Responsibilities: The Greif Early Career Program offers a 10-week corporate internship experience. Participants will undertake IT project-based assignments focused on cybersecurity. * Respond to cybersecurity incidents by troubleshooting and resolving issues * Assist in revising and creating IT policies to support the company’s security framework * Managing communications, ensuring company-wide awareness and protection A summer internship at Greif will enable you to: * Apply academic knowledge to gain industry experience * Collaborate with fellow interns and colleagues on a meaningful project to present at the end of your internship * Access professional development opportunities and learning material * Gain clarity on academic and career goals * Assimilate into a corporate team environment You will have the opportunity to: * Attend the week-long Internship Summit at Greif’s corporate headquarters in Delaware, Ohio * Engage with a variety of new and ongoing projects in various IT areas * Familiarize yourself with departmental functions * Be part of a growing team with the chance to help mature and develop our cybersecurity program * Participate in the process of merging IT with the infrastructure team, including critical aspects like disaster recovery * Attend internship events, social networking events, and roundtables * Potentially present to the Executive Leadership Team at the end of the internship * Contribute to performance goals and assigned projects * Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: * Actively pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related fields * Minimum completion of two years or more of college preferred prior to the start of your internship * Legally authorized to work in the U.S. * Able to work full-time during the 10-week internship experience beginning May 19th, 2025, to July 25th, 2025 What sets you apart: * Strong academic background, with a preferred GPA of 3.5 or above * Relevant internship, work experience, or involvement with professional clubs/organizations * Background in information systems (hardware or software) with a strong interest in deepening their knowledge * Proficient in basic IT systems, including familiarity with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and various software applications * Foundational understanding and some experience with Linux * Knowledge of Windows forensics, and network basics and operations * A proactive, self-starter attitude with a strong interest in technology and risk management * Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team * Curiosity and problem-solving skills * Excellent written and oral communication, organizational, time management, analytical, and adaptability skills Ready to embark on this exciting journey?
