Are you looking for a new opportunity for the first half of 2023? TETER is searching for a Licensed Structural Engineer to join our Central California team in designing cost-effective structural systems for a variety of building projects including education, industrial, energy, federal, private sector, healthcare, and commercial. The Structural Engineer collaborates with architects, engineers and technicians, and leads the development of project documents that meet client needs and exceed firm standards for quality. In doing so, the Senior SE will be responsible for vertical and lateral load calculations, building system design, client communications and management, coordinating manpower assignments and managing project financials, working with industry vendors, and other project related functions. The Structural Engineer may serve as the overall project manager of Structural prime projects or as the discipline project manager for larger, multi-discipline projects. He/she will ensure all drawings are prepared with accuracy, neatness, and speed, including work prepared by others. The ideal candidate is able to estimate time needed to complete assignments and manage his/her time in order to meet project requirements. Your Skills, Abilities, and Qualifications: Current registration as a Structural Engineer (S.E.) in California or as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) in another state and the ability to become licensed in California within 6 months of hire. 10+ years of experience as a Licensed Engineer delivering structural building design services on projects in the state of California. Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering (Structural Emphasis), Structural Engineering, or Architectural Engineering Proven time management skills including setting goals, prioritizing, estimating hours and completing tasks on time Proficiency in all levels of construction document development. TETER has adopted a hybrid work model with staff in office on Tuesdays through Thursday, and able to work remotely from home on Mondays and Fridays. The expected salary range for this role is $36.00 - $54.00 per hour. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, business needs, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
