MRI, a woman-owned Technologies and Engineering Services compan y is searching for a Stress Analyst to join the Orion Stress Team in support of a critical surge effort. This role involves providing stress analysis documentation for the verification of the Artemis 2 vehicle. We welcome candidates of all experience levels, with both full-time and part-time opportunities available. Key Responsibilities: Perform stress analysis to support Artemis 2 vehicle verification. Conduct finite element analysis using Nastran. Apply classical hand calculations and fatigue analysis techniques. Collaborate with engineering teams to document findings and ensure compliance with mission requirements. Required Skills: Typically requires a minimum of a bachelor's degree in Engineering . Proficiency in finite element analysis (FEA) tools, particularly Nastran. Experience in performing classical hand calculations for stress analysis. Background in fatigue analysis. Desired Skills: Experience with FEMAP and Slim. Knowledge of fracture analysis and NASA's fracture control system. Familiarity with aeroshell and thermal protection system (TPS) analysis.
