Strategic Commissioning Manager – Hackney Temp Vacancy Day Rate: £502.12 Full-Time 35 hours Job Purpose:1. This is a key role to support the imbedding of the commissioning requirements of the national vision strategy, Dementia strategies the Care Act 2014 etc.2. The aim is to improve social care and wellbeing outcomes for older people and those with long term conditions. You will lead and direct commissioning initiatives aligned to our commissioning intentions and manage a portfolio of commissioned services, to ensure delivery of high quality services to the people of Hackney.3. You will need vision, drive, and enthusiasm to lead and deliver our challenging agenda. This role requires an understanding of and commitment to improving outcomes for older people and those with a long term conditions in Hackney.4. As a senior member of the Commissioning and Procurement Team you will provide leadership to your team and be directly responsible for : -5. Effectively managing, management of commissioning, contracting, monitoring and redesign of services across services for older people and those with a long term conditions.6. Responsible for strategic management and engagement of a range of partnership arrangements with public, private and voluntary sector/not for profit agencies and people who use services. You will have lead responsibility for engaging with City and Hackney Clinical Commissioning Group on integrating dementia strategies.7. Responsible for effective collaboration and engagement with adult social care seniors, managers across the housing, health and prevention systems, procurement specialists and staff from other partner agencies in your commissioning activity.8. You will be responsible for spearheading market development strategies with providers serving older people and people with LTCs, producing in collaboration with other Strategic Commissioners, our Market Position Statement and related strategies.9.
