Provides education and training to patients, families, and nursing staff on wound care management, ostomy care, and continence care. Serves as a subject matter expert to peers, physicians and leaders on complex clinical issues in wound, ostomy, and continence care. Provides direction and guidance to others regarding practice and provides safe, therapeutic care in a holistic and systematic way. Shifts/schedule could be anywhere between M-F, 8-4; 24 hours per week- Location: Inova Mount Vernon Hospital- Education: Bachelors Degree in Nursing- Experience: 3 years of experience providing wound/ostomy care and Wound Certification (CWS, CWOCN, CWCN, CWOCN, or COCN accepted) or 5 years RN experience providing wound/ostomy care.
