Job summary: The Staff Engineer I is responsible for design and engineering of utilities, highways, public works, infrastructure, and land development projects. Job Duties/Responsibilities: Prepare plans in AutoCAD Civil 3D for highway and street geometric, traffic handling, site logistics, signing and striping, pavement delineation, roadway grading, site grading and earthwork, roads, sanitary and storm drainage, storm water data reports, specifications, and cost estimates. Coordinate with agencies, utility companies, and clients. Prepare meeting notes. Perform site visits. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Education Requirements: B.S. in Civil Engineering or a related degree from an accredited university Required Qualifications (Skills/Experience/Certifications): Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D Minimum 1 + years of civil engineering design experience or MSCE Preferred Qualifications (Skills/Experience/Certifications): Familiar with preparing Plans, Specifications, and Cost estimates Familiar with utility agency coordination Familiar with Local Standards Location: In-person at 7077 Koll Center Parkway, Suite 210 Pleasanton, CA Benefits: Health insurance (Employer cover 100% of employee premium) 401(k) with matching Vision insurance Dental insurance HRA (Employer paid) Life insurance (Employer paid) Paid time off 9 Paid Holidays Professional development assistance Bonus opportunities FSA EAP Pay: $31.00 - $34.00 per hour Job Type: Full-time Schedule: Monday to Friday To Apply: Submit your resume in PDF formatSanbell is an equal opportunity employer.
