As a Staff Accountant with American Pest, you will play a crucial role in the Accounting Department, including maintaining financial records and reports, performing account reconciliations, and assisting with budget and close processes. In addition, the Staff Accountant will support the Controller and VP of Finance as needed and respond to information requests and inquiries from the Management team. Who You Are... So, what does it take to be a successful in the Staff Accountant position at American Pest? For starters, you'll have a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance. You'll also have... A minimum of 2 years of accounting experience Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and vlookups A strong understanding and functional application of MS Office Suite The ability to multi-task and prioritize competing responsibilities according to urgency and importance in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles in the US) required Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred The ability and willingness to keep and maintain confidential information Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong data entry skills and a high level of accuracy The ability to be a positive, up-beat, team-player A high attention to detail and a desire for getting things right The ability to concentrate for extended periods of time The ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English Legal eligibility to work in the U.S. Who We Are...
