Our enterprise solutions team is seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to join our team supporting a global Media & Entertainment client to deliver a mix of large enterprise software implementations and infrastructure engineering projects. Your day-to-day will involve engaging with IT and business stakeholders, and liaising with a dedicated Product team to ensure on-time project delivery. You will oversee the successful execution of software and infrastructure engineering projects, ensuring performance, quality, and scheduling objectives are met. This project involves planning and executing projects within a hybrid waterfall and agile environment. Strong communication, influencing, and negotiation skills are essential for this position. Additionally, the project will require a solid technical foundation and the ability to quickly gain a deep understanding of strategic objectives.We have a direct relationship with the hiring manager on this critical project and are setting up interviews next week for someone who can hit the ground running. This is a contract project that can be worked remotely within the US on either EST or PST hours. Our team values growth, collaboration, and a commitment to provide high-quality work to the client. If you are interested in utilizing your creativity and project management exptertise to deliver cutting-edge solutions for our leading global media and entertainment client this is position is a fit for you!Responsibilities * Oversee and manage multiple programs and large-scale projects * Define and maintain project scope, timelines, and budgets * Update and manage detailed project plans, roadmaps, and trackers to monitor progress * Effectively and promptly communicate project expectations, risks, and escalations across all organizational levels * Manage resource capacity, identify overallocated resources, and develop mitigation strategies * Develop and maintain robust mitigation strategies for potential risks and issues * Lead cross-functional teams towards common goals within tight deadlines * Create project plans and mitigate scope creep * Provide weekly and monthly project status updates * Contribute to continuous process improvements aimed at enhancing efficiency and automationQualifications * At least 10 years of enterprise experience managing complex software projects * Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience * Proficient with project management tools like Jira, ServiceNow, and Smartsheet * Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail * Basic knowledge of software and infrastructure engineering technologies * Strong leadership abilities with a proven track record of coordinating and influencing team members from diverse global backgrounds, business goals, and time zones * Flexible and effective leader who thrives under pressure and during significant changes * Eagerness to continuously learn about new technologies, project management methodologies, and adapt to evolving business and industry needsPreferred Additional Qualifications * Certification in PMP or CSM * Prior experience working in the media entertainment sector * Strong leadership qualities to motivate, guide, and inspire teams * Results-driven with a proactive approach to completing tasksAdditional DetailsThe base range for this contract position is $65 - $75/per hour, depending on experience.Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
